In an attempt to prevent users from activating Microsoft Windows with KMS toolkit such as KMSpico and Microsoft Toolkit, Microsoft decided to roll-out an update to Windows Defender that would detect the presence of these applications and delete them. If Windows Defender is warning you of threads named “HackTool: Win32/AutoKMS” then these can be safely ignored as they are not threads at all. In this guide we will show you how to disable Windows Defender, so that you can successfully install your KMS activator.
